How does my plan work?

Your ISU Student ID works as a debit card for your meal plan.  Meal plans have two basic components accessible with your ID: Credits & Commons Cash.

Credits: the main meal plan currency

Credits can be used anytime at Sycamore Dining Hall which is our AYCE (All You Care to Eat) student restaurant.
Breakfast is 8 Credits, lunch is 10 Credits, and dinner is 13 Credits.
Using credits at the dining hall for your meals provides the best value for your meal plan.

Credits are also accepted in the HMSU Commons on weekends with a value of $0.50 each at select restaurants.

Commons Cash: just like cash

Declining Balance  account that may be spent at any ISU Dining location on campus (including Sycamore Dining) with a dollar-for-dollar value.

Where can I use my plan?
Credits may be used in Sycamore Dining Hall.  You can eat in, or if you are in a hurry, choose from our Sycamore To Go program selections which are located next to the cashier stations. Credits may also be redeemed at all locations in the HMSU Commons from 2 pm until close on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, except for the Campus Cupboard, Starbucks, and George's Café.

Commons Cash is accepted as payment at all campus restaurants.

Where can I purchase more Commons Cash or Credit?
